Description

Wake Forest seeks an applicant with an established record of publications and independent extramural funding in areas relating to neuroimaging of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders for a tenure-track faculty position (assistant,  associate, or full professor).

Wake Forest University School of Medicine has designated Alzheimer’s disease as one of six prioritized research focus areas, which also include aging, neurosciences, diabetes/obesity, cardiovascular disease, and health equity. Wake Forest is home to several highly collaborative NIH-funded centers, including an Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Pepper Older Adult Independence Center, and a Clinical and Translational Science Institute. It is engaging in an institution-wide initiative to expand imaging infrastructure to provide the most up-to-date equipment and increased capacity, providing opportunities for scientific and clinical advances.

Requirements

M.D., Ph.D. or equivalent degree and an established record of publications and independent extramural funding in areas relating to neuroimaging of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
